The excitement of this role is that you never really know what the next call will be about! We’re looking for Nurses who can listen to understand, think on their feet, communicate with empathy and build positive relationships with ease. Because you can’t see your caller, you’ll be able to paint a mental picture of what you’re hearing to then be able to offer tailored support.

Of course, your resilience and emotional intelligence will also be what helps you to truly excel. At times, our callers can be reaching out in their time of need, so you will be able to put people at ease, provide reassurance and communicate clinical information to a variety of audiences.

Advancing our pro-equity journey requires the participation and contribution of all our Plunket People, to support this, all of our staff participate in “be a better treaty partner” training “.
