Registered Nurse - Waihi/Whangamatā/Paeroa (4 days a week)

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

Working across the area, you will meet with an eclectic range of whānau. We're looking for a confident clinician, as you will be the only nurse in the area, however you'll have a wider team who are always just a call away. 

Our Nurses perform top-to-toe development and growth assessments and and provide clinical advice in homes and clinics with the aim of empowering whānau to succeed and prosper in their journey raising tamariki. When you live in a healthy and safe environment, parenting is much easier, to facilitate this, at times we need to provide social support and work with other agencies, specialists and community groups.

Pay rates for our Registered Nurses are between $64,924 ($32.68/hr) to $92,982 ($47.06/hour)depending on experience

This role is likely to be more suited to an established nurse, however if you have recently graduated and have the life experience and confidence to work on your own please apply. 

You will be confident in your ability to build trusting relationships with people from all walks of life. Your adaptability and active listening skills will support your ability to ensure you are matching whānau with the right kind of culturally safe support.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a Registered Nurse
  • Hold or be able to obtain an Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Hold a full or restricted clean NZ Drivers Licence
  • Be committed to completing Post Graduate Certificate in Well Child Tamariki ora (we will pay for this)
