Registered Nurse - Hamilton

Every pēpi in Aotearoa deserves to have the best start in life. Our Registered Nurses partner with whānau to ensure they are equipped to deliver a safe environment where little lives can thrive. If you are searching for something proactive and where you can truly work in partnership with others, come and join us.

We're looking for a full time Registered Nurse to join our Waikato team, you will predominantly work around Hamilton and Whatawhata.

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

Our Nurses perform top-to-toe development and growth assessments and and provide clinical advice in homes and clinics with the aim of empowering whānau to succeed and prosper in their journey raising tamariki. When you live in a healthy and safe environment, parenting is much easier, to facilitate this, at times we need to provide social support and work with other agencies, specialists and community groups. Our Hamilton clinic is currently a part of our exciting immunisation pilot programme

Our organisational focus on delivering more equitable outcomes means we are working hard to deliver our service to all tamariki in Aotearoa, but making a conscious effort to make our care more accessible for whānau who have historically not been catered to in our health system including whānau Māori, Pacific Peoples, young parents, children in state care and rainbow whānau.

Pay rates for our Registered Nurses are between $66,222 ($33.51 per hour) - $94,842 ($48 per hour) depending on experience

He kōrero mōu | About you

Your flexibility and active listening skills will support your ability to ensure you are matching whānau with the right kind of culturally safe support.

While the autonomy of working on your own and home visiting will be attractive to you, your ability to effectively manage your time, communicate and work in collaboration with others will be the key to your success. Lived experience or prior experience working in an equitable fashion would support you to fully realise our vision.
