Partnerships Manager
Whānau Āwhina Plunket is a charity and the largest service in Aotearoa supporting the health and wellbeing of tamariki under-five and their whānau. We are seeking a passionate and proactive Partnerships Manager to join our Fundraising team in Wellington or Auckland. This is a fixed term role for 12 months from March 2025 to March 2026.
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Are you a Partnerships Manager with a passion for building meaningful relationships and delivering impactful campaigns? We’re seeking someone who is ready to hit the ground running, to execute our partnership strategy with a focus on campaign management, business development and joint marketing plans to deliver on our partner’s objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you’ll manage key strategic partnerships, ensuring our partners feel valued while also maximising revenue. You’ll engage in regular, meaningful interactions with partners to ensure they receive strong value proposition, and manage the logistics behind our key campaigns. Your work will be at the heart of our efforts to improve health outcomes and support our key equity-focused initiatives.

You will be a self-starter with a solid background in campaign management, strategic planning, and execution—ideally in the not-for-profit or community-focused sectors. You will understand the bigger picture and align your work to create value for partners while driving results. A genuine passion for working with partners who share our commitments, alongside your creativity and decisiveness, will ensure that you thrive in this role.
You will also be/have:
- Senior sales and marketing experience including key account management, relationship and brand management, business development and client service or similar/equivalent experience
- Experience in developing and implementing business and marketing strategies
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong, trusted, mutually beneficial and long-lasting working relationships
- The ability to identify and develop new business opportunities across Government, corporate and NGO/NFP sectors
- Exposure to a broad range of industries including retail, consumer, financial services, energy and business-to-business market sectors
