Organisational Development & Learning Coordinator

Whānau Āwhina Plunket is New Zealand’s largest support service for tamariki under five and their whānau. We are committed to giving every child in Aotearoa the best possible start in life, with tamariki and whānau at the heart of what we do.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Organisational Development & Learning Coordinator to join our People and Culture team. This is a full-time permanent role based in Ōtautahi Christchurch. We would also consider a 0.9 full time equivalent (FTE) for the right candidate.

Te Whiwhingamahi | The opportunity

This is a hands-on coordination role within our Organisational Development & Learning team, supporting learning, leadership development, engagement, culture and organisational development activity across Whānau Āwhina Plunket.

You’ll help keep our Organisational Development & Learning mahi organised, accessible and easy for kaimahi and leaders to engage with. This includes coordinating workshops and learning events, supporting learning systems, maintaining records and trackers, responding to queries, supporting reporting and evaluation, coordinating external professional development processes, and helping improve simple systems and ways of working.

As a not-for-profit charity, many of our systems and processes are still evolving. This creates a real opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure, consistency and follow-through to busy work programmes. You’ll keep things moving, spot practical improvements, and provide calm, helpful coordination support across a varied portfolio.
