Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a collaborative and energetic Marketing Specialist. This is a full-time permanent position based in Wellington, with some flexibility available, we tend to commit to being in office Tuesday and Thursdays.
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
You will spearhead and execute the activity required to acquire and expand our reach to generous individuals who share in our vision.
Your focus will be on managing and optimising both regular giving and major appeal messaging through EDMs, Meta and Google campaigns, as well as face to face and tele-fundraising campaigns. You’ll be comfortable planning, leading and monitoring these campaigns both in-house and through the management of agency relationships.
You’ll be able to flex in line with the project management requirements of our various campaigns including our annual peer to peer Dunk it for Plunket campaign, or our Wills Month campaign.
Please note, the salary for this role is $82,008
He kōrero mōu | About you
You will have a deep connection to the mahi we do and be able to demonstrate your not-for-profit experience maximising ROI by delivering high quality mahi with a conservative marketing spend.
You’ll be a people person able to work internally and externally to mobilise our kaimahi to advocate for our fundraising endeavours, work alongside our partners to maximise opportunities all while ensuring our existing donors have a spectacular experience.
Given you will maintain the accuracy of both our internal intranet and public facing website’s content related to fundraising, such as creating campaign specific landing pages, your ability to produce high quality content is vital.
Additionally, you will approach each situation with a continuous improvement mindset and use your creativity and knowledge of current marketing trends to ensure we are staying ahead of the game.
