GM Māori and Health Equity

Mō mātou | About Us

Whānau Āwhina Plunket is Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest provider of Well Child Tamariki Ora services, supporting the health and development of tamariki and their whānau from birth to five years.  We are present in communities across the motu, and we are committed to being genuinely responsive to Māori, Pacific, and all priority populations.

With a bold new strategy about to be launched, we are entering a period of organisational change; enhancing our clinical capability, ensuring our services are whānau led, strengthening our partnerships and embedding Te Tiriti o Waitangi as the foundation for every decision we make.

  • Building and sustaining substantive relationships with iwi, hapū, kaupapa Māori and Pacific providers, government agencies, and ministers.
