Clinical Leader - Hawkes Bay

Our frontline kaimahi impact the lives of whānau from across Aotearoa on a day-to-day basis, providing reassurance and clinical advice in homes, clinics and in community settings. We are committed to ensuring they have elite level leadership to guide this important mahi.

We are seeking applications for a Clinical Leader with energy, resilience, commitment and drive, who can inspire and lead our teams in Central Hawkes Bay. This is a full time permanent position.

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

This position is best suited to an experienced leader, though we also welcome applications from experienced nurses who are ready to step up and grow into a leadership role.

You will motivate and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Health worker/ Karitane, and Kaiāwhina to deliver our Well Child Tamariki Ora service to whānau. Acting as a part of a supportive management team, who are committed to continuous improvement of service delivery, you will be able to pivot in response to the day's changing demands while maintaining a solid rhythm for your team. 

Payrates for this role are between $111,625 ($53.67/hr) to $122,59.09 ($59.09/hr) depending on experience.

As an experienced clinician, you'll have understanding of what goes into supporting whānau to meet their aspirations and now be looking to empower other kaimahi to do the same.

Your time management and adaptability will ensure your team have timely support to do their mahi well. This role calls for someone that embraces our uara when working with others including your team to grow others in a strength-based manner, while ensuring we're also providing timely and mana enhancing feedback so your team understand how they can continue to grow their practice.

Critical thinking and reflective practice will drive your approach and contribute to our collective solution focused mindset. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to use and interpret data when making decisions.

• The right to work in Aotearoa
• A full or restricted licence
• A current NZ Nursing Council Annual Practicing Certificate
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to build strong professional relationships with staff and stakeholders
• Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti ō Waitangi and its application to improving health outcomes for whānau Māori, as well as a commitment/interest in Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga
• An understanding of equity and how this applies to your practice and health outcomes
