Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

At about 4 weeks old you will visit pēpi then act as a case manager through to their final check – either seeing the whānau yourself, or if they are to visit a drop in clinic. Imagine, watching your community grow before your eyes!

We won't sugar coat it; Our Registered Nurse roles are complex and change doesn’t come quick, but overwhelmingly, our nurses say it is a privilege to be able to be in homes and have whānau open up to us about their journeys. In this role, you’ll meet whānau where they areliterally by conducting house calls alongside hosting clinics and figuratively by learning where they are in their unique parenting journeys.

Our scope of practice and duty of care means that assessing the development of our clients and the clinical aspects in our top to toe physical assessments co-exist with understanding the wider environment surrounding pēpi which can involve exposure to family harm, substance addiction and high levels of deprivation.

Our registered nurse salaries are between $62,911 ($31.84 per hour) and $90,099 ($45.60 per hour) depending on experience
